Mrs. Pérez has more than 25 years of experience in banking and payments including commercial and retail banking, product development and financial services. Prior to NovoPayment, she served as Senior Vice President of Venezolano de Crédito, a leading Venezuelan financial institution, where she held several key positions. Under Mrs. Perez’ leadership NovoPayment and its subsidiaries have garnered several important awards and recognitions including seven Paybefore Awards (2008-2017) and Latin Trade Magazine’s 10 Companies Under 10 Years (2010). Mrs. Pérez has been honored with several professional awards and recognitions including Endeavor Entrepreneur (2014) and the 2011 Paybefore Industry Achievement Award, the prepaid industry's highest individual honor in recognition of her contributions to the space and to financial inclusion in Latin America.
Benjamin is a Founder of GuiaBolso, a fintech startup that developed Brazil's leading personal finance platform, with over 3.5M users and the #1 finance app in the AppStore. In line with its mission of transforming the financial well-being of Brazilian consumers, GuiaBolso developed unique technology to aggregate and organize all of users' financial information to help them make better decisions and choose more appropriate products. A key piece of this strategy has been the scaling up of an credit marketplace to match consumers with directed offers from banking partners online and in real-time. Previously Dan was part of the funding management team of Celistics, as well as the CEO of Movilway, the largest Agent network of prepaid airtime in LATAM with operations in 14 countries. Dan worked for 12 years in New York in financial services as a strategic management consultant in various fortune 500 firms. Dan started his career as a FX trader in Citibank in Venezuela. Jim McCarthy is the Executive Vice President of Innovation & Strategic Partnerships for Visa Inc. In this position, Jim is responsible for the development of Visa’s innovation efforts, business development for strategic partnerships and overseeing Visa’s open platform program, Visa Developer. Most recently, Jim was the Global Head of Product for Visa Inc., with responsibility for all aspects of product strategy and development in consumer and business products, as well as platform development and commercial information management. Since joining Visa in 1999, McCarthy has held several senior leadership positions, including Head of North America Financial Institution Sales and Head of Global Consumer Products. Earlier in his Visa tenure, McCarthy was Head of Emerging Products for Visa USA, where he drove the coordination, deployment and management of emerging products and payment services in the United States, including the development of Verified by Visa, an identity verification product that has become the standard for payment security and fraud prevention in eCommerce. Prior to joining Visa in 1999, McCarthy worked at IBM where he served as the senior client representative to Bank of America. In that role, he was responsible for direct sales and account management including marketing, technology solutions and the development of joint business strategies. McCarthy earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of William and Mary in 1986.

Tigre is also an active angel investor and a mentor to several local emerging technology companies, having invested in more than two dozen startups. He serves on the board of Accelerated Growth Partners (AGP), Miami’s leading angel investor network. In 2009 Tigre joined Andres Moreno as the Founding COO and CFO of Open English, growing the company from commercial launch to over $50M in annual revenues and creating a massive consumer brand. Today Open English is the leading on-line language school in the Americas, having helped nearly 500,000 students to learn English over the internet. Under Tigre’s leadership, Open English raised over $120M of Venture Capital in four rounds of investment from firms including Redpoint, Insight, and Technology Crossover Ventures. Tigre began his career as a strategy consultant with The Boston Consulting Group, where he spent 16 years as a partner in the US, Spain and Mexico. Later, from 2006 to 2009, he built a chain of 20 checkcashing and PayDay Loan stores in Miami, which he purchased in an MBO and subsequently sold to a larger competitor. He was also a founding investor and Board member of Proteak, a large Latin American forestry business which listed on the Mexican stock exchange in 2010.
