Wenyi Cai es la fundadora y socia gerente de Polymath Ventures, una incubadora de empresas enfocada en mercados emergentes con oficinas en Bogotá, Ciudad de México y Shanghai. Polymath ha creado 7 empresas en una amplia gama de industrias, que incluyen servicios financieros y de movilidad, y recaudó más de $20 millones de USD en fondos de etapa inicial. Polymath es un socio estratégico de Mesoamérica, un líder en capital privado en América Latina, con un fondo dedicado de USD $ 40 millones para invertir en la cartera de Polymath. Antes de fundar Polymath, Wenyi fue la COO de Milo.com, una startup de consumo de Internet que vendió a eBay en 2010. Al principio de su carrera, Wenyi fue consultora de McKinsey & Company en Oriente Medio, África y Asia meridional, y un comerciante cualitativo en la industria de fondos de cobertura. Wenyi se graduó con honores en Harvard College y estudió filosofía y física.
